Roman has been an active investor in digital assets since 2011 and is among the first investors in Ethereum and other foundational blockchain protocols. During the market’s formative years, he participated directly in the ecosystem through early-stage investing and mining activities, developing a deep, first-hand understanding of blockchain networks and their economic dynamics. In 2019, following nearly a decade of personal investing experience, Roman founded Alphemy Capital to formalize his investment approach within an institutional framework.

As Chief Investment Officer, Roman leads firm-wide investment strategy and chairs the Investment Committee, making final investment decisions while incorporating research-driven portfolio construction and risk positioning inputs from the broader investment team. He is responsible for capital allocation, portfolio direction, and the overall implementation of Alphemy’s investment philosophy across its liquid digital asset platform.

Roman’s background combines deep digital asset expertise with senior corporate leadership experience. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles at a Fortune 500 company, with responsibility spanning strategy, operations, and financial management. Roman holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an MSc in Economics from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He also completed the Digital Disruption Global Leadership Program at IMD in Lausanne.
