Martin joined the firm in 2021 with over 15 years of experience as a risk, compliance and operations executive. He has been actively involved in digital assets since 2017 where he was responsible for setting up a digital asset fund in his prior role at a hedge fund. This led to his deepened interest in blockchain technology where he studied and learnt the mechanics of DEXs, hardware keys and security, amongst others.

Martin’s experience includes serving as the Chief Compliance Officer for a Geneva based hedge fund and as Senior Advisor of a Geneva based technology venture capital firm. Earlier in his career, he worked at Reuters responsible for financial crime, notably implementing surveillance for the FX multilateral trading platform and enforcing compliance on leading US high frequency trading firms.

Martin holds a Master’s degree from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Leeds. He is a Certified Financial Risk Manager and a Chartered Fellow of The CISI.
