Jeffery joined Alphemy in September 2025 as Head of Research and is a member of the Investment Committee, with a mandate to strengthen and institutionalize the firm’s investment process. Working closely across the investment and risk functions, he contributes to portfolio construction, asset selection, and the establishment of portfolio guidelines, helping embed a more structured and repeatable framework across the platform.

Previously, Jeffery spent eight years at a leading $26 billion Canadian pension fund, where he led technology investing and launched one of the earliest institutional allocation programs to digital assets in 2021, spanning both venture and liquid strategies. Earlier in his career, he traded systematic and macro strategies, managed over $2 billion in assets, and held capital markets roles at the Bank of Montreal.

Jeffery holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, a Master of Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics (Beijing). He is a CFA Charterholder.
