Martin joined Alphemy Capital in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, bringing 15+ years of experience across operations, risk management, and compliance, with deep digital-asset expertise since 2017, including establishing a digital-asset fund at a prior hedge fund.

At Alphemy, he is responsible for maintaining a top-tier institutional operating infrastructure and works closely with the investment and risk functions to ensure an integrated, seamless operating platform. His remit spans counterparties, operational controls, and governance, as well as the ongoing enhancement of processes and infrastructure as the firm scales and evolves.

Previously, Martin served as Chief Compliance Officer at a Geneva-based hedge fund and as Senior Advisor to a Geneva-based technology venture capital firm. Earlier in his career, he worked at Reuters in financial crime and market surveillance, including implementing surveillance for an FX multilateral trading platform and supporting compliance oversight of leading U.S. high-frequency trading firms.

Martin holds a Master’s degree from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and a BA from University of Leeds. He is a Certified Financial Risk Manager and a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
